Description

Elevate your diagnostic capabilities with our Cytokine, Chemokine, Growth Factor 15-Plex Panel. This advanced panel allows for the simultaneous measurement of 15 key biomarkers, including IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, and TNFα, from a minimal sample volume. It is an invaluable tool for exploring disease mechanisms and evaluating therapeutic responses.

Indications:

Use this test to identify relevant therapy targets, determine disease mechanisms, and diagnose or monitor the following conditions associated with immune regulation and inflammation:

  • Autoimmune and Inflammatory Diseases: Assess autoimmune and chronic inflammatory conditions such as rheumatoid arthritis, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD). Elevated levels of cytokines like IL-1β, IL-6, TNFα, and IFNγ can indicate immune dysregulation and ongoing inflammation.
  • Infectious Diseases: Evaluate the immune response to bacterial, viral, and fungal infections. Cytokines like IFNγ, IL-2, IL-12p70, and MCP-1 (CCL2) are critical for the immune defense against pathogens, while chemokines such as IL-8 (CXCL8) indicate leukocyte recruitment to infection sites.
  • Cancer: Monitor tumor progression and response to therapy in various cancers, as cytokines like GM-CSF, IL-6, and TNFα are involved in tumor growth, immune modulation, and inflammation.
  • Allergic and Asthma Conditions: Diagnose and monitor allergic diseases and asthma, where cytokines like IL-4, IL-5, and IL-13 play pivotal roles in mediating allergic inflammation and airway hyperreactivity.
  • Sepsis and Critical Illness: Diagnose and monitor sepsis and systemic inflammatory response syndrome (SIRS), where elevated levels of cytokines like IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, and TNFα are markers of systemic inflammation and immune activation.
  • Neurological Disorders: Monitor neuroinflammatory conditions such as multiple sclerosis and Alzheimer’s disease, where cytokines like IL-1β, IL-6, and TNFα contribute to neuroinflammation and neuronal damage.

Key Features:

  1. Focused Biomarker Coverage: Provides in-depth analysis of essential proinflammatory cytokines such as IL-6 and TNFα, ensuring comprehensive diagnostic insights.
  2. CLIA Certified for Clinical Use: Our CLIA certification guarantees that this panel meets the highest standards of accuracy and reliability for clinical diagnostics.
  3. Versatile Applications: Ideal for identifying therapy targets, understanding disease mechanisms, and investigating ‘cytokine storm’ in conditions such as COVID-19.
  4. Sample Flexibility: Reference intervals available for PLASMA-EDTA, SERUM, and CSF samples.
  5. Affordable Assay Services: We offer some of the most cost-effective assay services, making advanced diagnostics accessible for clinical applications.

Exciting New Publication: Frontiers in Immunology

We are excited to share our latest article published in Frontiers in Immunology, titled “Identification of Novel Clusters of Co-Expressing Cytokines in a Diagnostic Cytokine Multiplex Test”. This research provides valuable insights into cytokine expression patterns and their diagnostic implications. The study explores novel clusters of co-expressing cytokines identified through our diagnostic multiplex tests, offering new perspectives on cytokine interactions and their relevance in various conditions.

Diagram showing cytokine clustering analysis: K-means clustering suggests five optimal clusters (Figure 1A), while hierarchical clustering reveals seven (Figure 1B). Seven consensus groupings were identified, with twelve analytes grouped differently. Clusters 1-3 and 6 contain pro-inflammatory and hematopoietic factors; cluster 4, chemokines; cluster 5, major growth factors; and cluster 7 has an unclear link

Why Choose Plasma-EDTA for Accurate Results

For accurate and reliable results, choose plasma-EDTA for all our tests. Plasma, preserved with EDTA, maintains the integrity of your biomarker analysis by preventing clotting and reflecting the true state of the circulating immune environment. Unlike serum, which can release inflammatory factors during clotting, plasma provides a more precise snapshot. Plus, since specific reference intervals for serum haven’t been established for several tests, using plasma-EDTA avoids the risk of sample rejection and ensures the highest quality data.

Trust in plasma-EDTA to deliver the precision you need for impactful insights!

Regulated Tests: Ensuring Quality and Accuracy

The LDT (Lab Developed Test) designation highlights that our tests are regulated by the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) under CLIA, ensuring they meet stringent quality and accuracy standards. Unlike commercially distributed tests, which undergo FDA approval, our LDTs are developed and validated within our laboratory to provide specialized and reliable diagnostic insights tailored to your needs. This distinction underscores our commitment to maintaining the highest standards in testing and personalized care.

Additionally, we hold a clinical and public health laboratory license with the California Department of Public Health (COS-90013367). Our certification underscores our commitment to rigorous standards.

Clinicians: Please check with your State Agency to determine if additional licensure or registration requirements may apply.
