Sample Tube Type
Conforming tubes are 0.5-0.65mL snap cap tubes. Having a conforming tube helps us complete your analysis efficiently and accurately. A $4.00 charge per sample tube may be added to your order if sample tubes are non-conforming.

0.5-0.65ml Snap Cap

Other Tube Type (Fee applies)

Label Type
Conforming tube labeling is with a constant letter from your last name followed by consecutive numbers. (ie. Last name Smith: S1, S2, S3, etc.). Labelling tubes in this manner helps us complete your analysis efficiently and accurately. A $4.00 charge per sample tube may be added to your order if sample labelling is non-conforming.

Alpha Numeric Labeling (1 letter with consecutive numbers, i.e. A1,A2, A3, etc.)

Other Label Type (Attach sample list at checkout, fee applies)

Pilot Analysis

Pilot runs are recommended for medium to large cohorts of samples that lack homogeneity (i.e. n>20 of tissue homogenate samples, cell culture samples, or less common sample types which can have higher sources of variability and/or unpredictable analyte levels). Running a pilot in such instances will ensure an optimal dilution factor is used before running your entire sample cohort. Pilot runs are ideally done on samples that reflect the expected experimental range and are provided as separate aliquots/separate samples designated for the pilot run.

None

Yes - I will include additional pilot samples (RECOMMENDED: to remove consideration for inter-assay variables between pilot and main sample cohort assay sessions.) We typically recommend 2, one sample with a low expected analyte concentration and one with a high, to encompass the range of the standard curve.

Yes – I will indicate pilot samples from within my cohort (CAUTION: pilot samples will not be run again with the main assay. Inter-assay variables may result in a batch effect. We typically recommend 2, one sample with a low expected analyte concentration and one with a high, to encompass the range of the standard curve.

Description

This assay uses the Luminex® 200™ platform.

Clinicians! This assay is now available for clinical diagnostics as  HDF15-Clin under Laboratory Developed Tests (LDT) and fully regulated under the CLIA. For more information and to explore how this assay can enhance your diagnostic capabilities, visit our patient diagnostics webpage.

Consider this assay for a focused analysis of key human proinflammatory cytokines. The Human Cytokine Proinflammatory Focused 15-Plex Discovery Assay® Array (HDF15) measures 15 key biomarkers simultaneously from a small sample volume, including IL-1β, IL-6, IL-10, and TNFα. As a result, it serves as a valuable tool for studies on disease mechanisms and therapeutic responses.

This panel is ideal for research on chronic inflammatory diseases such as Crohn’s disease, systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE), and asthma. For instance, IL-6 and TNFα are commonly elevated in these conditions, and IL-10 plays a role in immune regulation.

Unlock critical insights into CAR-T therapy! CAR-T cell therapy, a groundbreaking treatment for certain cancers, involves re-engineering a patient’s T-cells to attack cancer cells. However, this therapy often triggers significant immune responses, including cytokine release syndrome (CRS) and other inflammatory side effects. The HDF15 assay is an essential tool for studying these effects, as it includes key biomarkers such as IL-6, a major driver of CRS, and IFNγ, a marker of T-cell activation.

By enabling simultaneous analysis of these and other proinflammatory cytokines, this panel supports researchers in understanding the dynamics of CAR-T-induced immune responses. It is particularly valuable for evaluating therapy efficacy, optimizing dosing strategies, and monitoring patients for potential adverse effects. The ability to measure both inflammatory and regulatory cytokines makes the HDF15 assay indispensable for improving CAR-T therapy safety and outcomes.

Cytokine storm, crucial cytokines involved in inflammation processes.

If you anticipate that your samples may have low cytokine levels, such as those from normal healthy populations, you might want to consider our High Sensitivity panel. This advanced option, in particular, is specifically designed to detect low abundance cytokines with greater precision, ensuring you capture even subtle variations in your data.

Discover the power of precision with our Human Cytokine Proinflammatory Focused 15-Plex Discovery Assay®, expertly designed for the Luminex® 200™ platform. This cutting-edge technology enables the simultaneous detection of multiple biomarkers from a minimal single sample, delivering comprehensive insights with unmatched efficiency. Streamline your research and unlock a new level of detail with our advanced multiplex assay solution.

If you expect your samples to have low cytokine levels, i.e. normal healthy populations, you may wish to inquire about a High Sensitivity panel.
